Jabba

Straight out of Heilbronn, Jabba has been bringing “Southern Heat” to dancefloors since 2015. After quickly establishing himself as a DJ talent in the local scene, it didn’t take long before he started producing his own tracks. Following his first releases on smaller labels, he decided to take matters into his own hands and founded his own label, Subminded Records, in January 2017.

In May 2020, his first EP on RAM’s sister label ProgRAM, the Radius EP, was released, followed by contributions to the RAM Rave compilation, the RAM Annual album, and a feature on Division’s EP via Delta 9 Recordings.

With his second ProgRAM release, the Axis EP, in March 2021, Jabba already hinted at his passion for the more experimental side of the drum & bass spectrum. He continued pushing his sound further — making it the perfect moment for a release on Neosignal’s NËU imprint. In July 2021, Jabba released his biggest project to date: the Grounded EP.

The EP’s five unique tracks made their way from Noisia’s Vision Radio to BBC Radio 1 and major festival stages, eventually reaching the Beatport Drum & Bass Top 100. Grounded was followed by a remix of The Caracal Project’s “Bogy” as well as a collaborative single with Belgian producer Lavance on NEKSUS Sound.

Driven by a constant desire to reinvent himself, Jabba is already back in the studio, refining his sound and working on new projects.
